Just adding some links to the venues we have booked these coming three weeks.
We are currently taking bookings for this autumn/winter.
The Old Barn Corner
No website yet. We play 25/7 at this recently opened pub in Vetlanda.
The Dubliner
We are playing 31/7, 1/8 at the new Dubliner, that just opened in Stockholm.
Österåker Golfklubb
We are playing 1/8, same day as The Dubliner at this nice Golfclub in Stockholm.
Rockelstad Slott
We are playing 8/8 at this nice venue, in Flen, just outside of Stockholm.
More shows confirmed. On July 31 and August 1, we are doing shows in Stockholm
at "The Dubliner". We will also play at a Golf Club on August 1, earlier in the afternoon.
The Golf Club is also located in stockholm, and that makes it possible for us to play there
before we go on stage at The Dubliner that same night. The Golf Club gig is for members,
and that makes it a private event. See you all in Stockholm!
We will be playing at a place called "Old Barn Corner" in Vetlanda
on July 25th.
There will be tickets for sale via the owners of this venue.
After just playing one gig, we decided to leave
a contest called "Rock Karusellen".
We were supposed to play 4 gigs before moving
on in this contest to a more competitive level, but
we decided this was not for us.
There were just too many things about this whole
contest that wasnt our style, and to be honest,
too unserious for us to participate any further.
Anyways; Good Luck to all remaining bands in the contest!
After taking a break from playing live (except for a few
handpicked gigs) for a while, we are now taking bookings
again.
So we will start by playing at a local pub, do some
private gigs, and then make plans for 2009.
Also, we're making plans for either an EP, or maybe our
third full length album.
So keep an eye on our gig schedule (soon to be updated),
put on your clogs, and get ready to drink and dance again.
A new video is up. The song is called "Smugglers" and can be found on our
2006 release "The Foggy Dew". The video contains live clips and some nice nature
footage. You can find the video in the Media section of this site.
Also, this summer Görgen became "Riksspelman" a status that very few people
achieves. It is rewarded with a medal, and its a national award for instrumental achievment,
and it puts him among the top fiddle players in Sweden.
Congrats!
Its been long since an update for a reason, and that is we are on a break and
have nothing to report. But now we are glad to report that we will play at the Viking
Festival in Strängnäs as we did last year. It was such a fun time last year so we decided
to play there again, break or no break. We're not shure when we'll start to take gigs on
a regular basis again, but it wont be very long. The break has been, and still is well
needed, and we look forward to start playing again in a near future.
Its long overdue, but now Derry Quay will take a well deserved break from playing.
It's been over 4 years of constant touring and recording, and we feel its finally time to
take it easy for a while and recharge. We'll do one last gig before the break at the end of
this month.
See you towards autumn over whenever we decide to return. Slainte!
There are new wallpapers in the media section of this site. Also a full song, "Deviest Molly",
from the compalition christmas album is up! Some layout work has been done aswell.
Soon there will also be new pictures and a presskit available aswell, and the gig-schedule
for 2008 will be added.
New updates to the site will be coming shortly. This includes new pictures, band photos,
updates regarding the compalition album, and the full song from that album "Deviest Molly".
Until then; Merry Christmas & a happy new year!

The new album contains twelve tracks, with ballads,
fast traditional pubsongs, sea shanty's, stories of pirates,
smugglers, and drunks. All in a perfect blend.
The album goes by the name "The Foggy Dew", and is available now through this website.
